Mega Sound System - Nem szarozunk
If you ever wondered what Hungarian underground gangsta rap from the early ‘90’s sounds like, you’re lucky my friend. Mega Sound System was the pioneer of the genre, armed with incredibly cheap sounding beats and funny lyrics. “Nem szarozunk” (“We don’t fuck around”) is from their classic album “Új Sportok” (“New Sports”), and features lines like:
“If you break my nose / I will smash your head / if you try to smash my head / I will take your life / and spit on your corpse…”
(Their albums spread in tape form, the songs were never released commercially. They’re cult classics to this day.)
